Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you’ll be involved in:

  • Managing the coordination and completion of high-visibility client-facing projects; specifically, the implementation of new Virtual Job Tryouts    
  • Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress on multiple concurrent projects; using detailed project plans and timelines to monitor and track progress  
  • Leading project calls, including for implementation planning, training and ad hoc meetings
  • Working directly with clients and Shaker teammates to ensure all project requirements are met and deliverables exceed expectations  
  • Coordinating internal resources (ranging from administrative to technical) for the flawless execution of projects 
  • Managing project financials, invoicing, and changes to the project scope 

We’re looking for professionals with:

  • An MA in industrial-organizational psychology (1-3 years of experience preferred)
  • Proven working experience in a client-facing project management role 
  • Familiarity with strategic human resource initiatives and a passion for and commitment to helping organizations with talent acquisition challenges 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills 
  • The ability to lead a cross-functional team and work closely with clients to drive project success  
  • The ability to build relationships with business executives and HR practitioners 
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Consultant/Analyst

As a member of our team, you’ll be involved in:

  • Developing Virtual Job Tryout content (interactive, innovative web-based assessment), which may include development of new assessment content or strategic updates to existing content
  • Job analysis work; participating in interviews, focus groups, building surveys, and analyzing data
  • Performance modeling and data analysis, including business impact analyses
  • Extensive technical and business writing, including technical reports and item writing
  • Interfacing with clients and business partners in the development of solutions, presenting business impact results, and providing ongoing client support
  • Other activities such as survey work, training development, interview guide writing
  • Generating and disseminating cutting-edge thought leadership such as conference presentations, publications, or blog posts; providing data-driven insights to the larger Shaker team and clients

We’re looking for fellow I/O-ers with:

  • An MA or a PhD in industrial-organizational psychology (all levels of experience may apply)
  • Extremely strong technical and business writing capabilities
  • Advanced data analysis and reasoning skills with guru-level SPSS prowess
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Drive to travel up a steep (nearly vertical) learning curve
  • Passion and commitment to help organizations with talent acquisition challenges
  • Ability to build relationships with business executives and HR practitioners
